A facebook user Atindra Chakrabarty who met Ranu at the Ranaghat train station recoded the song on 1st August 2019 of Ranu.

He listened to the song that Ranu Mondal was singing when he was standing near her. Then he requested her to sing the song of Lata Mangeshkar’s “Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai” again by offering her a cup of tea and a biscuit and recorded it. Atindra uploaded the video on facebook and Ranu become an internet sensation overnight. The 2 minutes video of Ranu made her from a street singer to a National star.
